Land aqcuired for redvelopment

Merrifields have been instructed to market a strategic roadside site off the London Road in Thetford. The buildings on site, originally constructed for Thermos and later adapted for Danepack, are considered physically and economically obsolete and as such it is proposed that they will be demolished to make way for a new roadside development creating new jobs for the town.

The site is in excess of four acres, close to the A11 and is adjacent to the Forest Retail Park (Sainsbury, B&Q  and Mcdonalds) and opposite the likes of Lidl and Wickes. It therefore represents an excellent opportunity for roadside users and expressions of interest are invited.
