Landlords and tenants look to use their property assets to meet with their needs.  Landlords will seek to maintain and increase the capital value of their property assets and to increase the income generation potential.  Tenants seek to minimise occupational costs (rent, service charge, insurance etc) but also seek to upgrade the specifications of buildings they occupy.  Our surveyors are able to provide tailored advice to meet landlords and tenants needs.

Our surveyors have an in-depth knowledge of commercial property leases. We can provide early warnings of important lease dates and advise in advance of those dates to make sure our interpretation of clients needs is up to date to ensure the best results, where possible, are achieved from opportunities available to them (subject to lease terms).

We aim to provide the best advice to clients where it is essential to have not only market knowledge and strong negotiating skills but crucially a sound appreciation of the law and interpretation of lease terms.  Combining these skills enables us to provide the right strategy to meet our clients specific needs.

Unfortunately not all disputes can be settled by negotiation.  When this happens we are able to provide formal expert reports for presentation to an arbitrator, independent expert or to a Court if required.
