Since the start of the second quarter of 2025, Merrifields have seen an increase in enquiries for small town centre offices within Bury St Edmunds. This has led to the completion of 5 new leases within a 2-month period!

Merrifields were instructed by the landlord of two multi-let office buildings in the centre of Bury St Edmunds to market multiple office spaces to seek new tenants. The units ranged from 108 sq ft – 610 sq ft. The offices benefitted from shared entrances, communal WC & Kitchen and parking subject to availability and by way of a separate licence.

The team undertook multiple viewings and were able to explain the standard estate terms to the proposed tenants as well as giving them clarity to the entire letting process. We then agreed Heads of Terms with the most suitable interested parties, acting quickly alongside a proactive landlord, and in turn completing the transaction in good time.
