Merrifields advice=se took in to account the buildings listed status and tenant occupation. Merrifields liaised with the tenants and reviewed their needs for continued occupation of the building and negotiated the surrender of their lease.
Merrifields submitted a planning application for a change of use and liaised with the local authority and despite being against policy secured planning for the change of use. . The landlord instructed Merrifields to take the property to the market. A price acceptable to both seller and purchaser was agreed and the building was sold with the benefit of planning consent and as of December 2020 is being converted to a single dwelling.
